15th Finance Commission Initiatives – Health, Education & Livelihood
Umang Foundation is actively and successfully implementing various development initiatives under the framework of the 15th Finance Commission. These initiatives are designed to strengthen Health, Education, and Livelihood opportunities at the grassroots level, ensuring inclusive and sustainable community development.
- Health:
Under the health component, the Foundation conducts community health awareness drives, preventive healthcare sessions, sanitation campaigns, nutrition awareness programs for women and children, and provides support for strengthening local health infrastructure and outreach activities. The objective is to promote preventive healthcare practices and improve overall community well-being. - Education:
In the education sector, Umang Foundation undertakes academic support and career guidance workshops, distribution of educational materials to needy students, digital literacy and skill-based training sessions, and awareness programs aimed at reducing school dropouts. These efforts are focused on ensuring equitable access to quality education and encouraging students to pursue higher learning opportunities. - Livelihood:
To strengthen livelihood opportunities, the Foundation implements skill development and vocational training programs, Self-Help Group (SHG) strengthening initiatives, entrepreneurship guidance for rural youth and women, and support for sustainable agriculture and allied activities. The primary goal is to create sustainable income sources and promote economic self-reliance among communities.
Through these integrated efforts under the 15th Finance Commission framework, Umang Foundation continues to contribute meaningfully towards inclusive rural development and long-term community empowerment.

उमंग फाउंडेशन १५ व्या वित्त आयोगाच्या चौकटीअंतर्गत विविध विकासात्मक उपक्रम सक्रियपणे व यशस्वीरीत्या राबवत आहे. या उपक्रमांद्वारे तळागाळातील आरोग्य, शिक्षण आणि उपजीविका क्षेत्र अधिक सक्षम करून सर्वसमावेशक व शाश्वत समुदाय विकास साधण्यावर भर दिला जात आहे.

आरोग्य घटकांतर्गत फाउंडेशन समुदाय आरोग्य जनजागृती मोहिमा, प्रतिबंधात्मक आरोग्य सत्रे, स्वच्छता अभियान, महिला व बालकांसाठी पोषण जनजागृती कार्यक्रम तसेच स्थानिक आरोग्य सुविधा बळकटीकरण व आरोग्य संपर्क उपक्रम राबवते. यामागील उद्देश प्रतिबंधात्मक आरोग्य पद्धतींचा प्रसार करून एकूण समुदाय आरोग्य सुधारणा साधणे हा आहे. - शिक्षण:
शिक्षण क्षेत्रात उमंग फाउंडेशन शैक्षणिक सहाय्य व करिअर मार्गदर्शन कार्यशाळा, गरजू विद्यार्थ्यांना शैक्षणिक साहित्य वितरण, डिजिटल साक्षरता व कौशल्याधारित प्रशिक्षण सत्रे तसेच शाळा सोडणाऱ्या विद्यार्थ्यांचे प्रमाण कमी करण्यासाठी जनजागृती कार्यक्रम राबवते. या प्रयत्नांद्वारे गुणवत्तापूर्ण शिक्षणाची उपलब्धता सुनिश्चित करून विद्यार्थ्यांना उच्च शिक्षणासाठी प्रोत्साहन दिले जाते. - उपजीविका:
उपजीविका बळकटीसाठी फाउंडेशन कौशल्य विकास व व्यावसायिक प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम, बचत गट (SHG) सक्षमीकरण उपक्रम, ग्रामीण युवक व महिलांसाठी उद्योजकता मार्गदर्शन तसेच शाश्वत शेती व पूरक उपक्रमांना समर्थन देते. यामागील प्रमुख उद्दिष्ट म्हणजे शाश्वत उत्पन्न स्रोत निर्माण करून समुदायात आर्थिक स्वावलंबन वाढवणे.

Pre-Marriage Counseling Program
The Pre-Marriage Counseling Program supported by the National Commission for Women (NCW) is a meaningful initiative aimed at preparing individuals for a healthy, respectful, and responsible marital life.
Through the esteemed Shri Sambhu Mahadev Sheva Bhavi Sanstha, Pus , our team has successfully completed certified counselor training under this program. This training enables us to guide couples with the right knowledge, emotional preparedness, and legal awareness before entering marriage.
The program focuses on strengthening communication skills, managing expectations, understanding emotional needs, and promoting mutual respect between partners. It also creates awareness about marital rights, family laws, and legal protections, especially for women.
By addressing important areas such as conflict resolution, financial planning, career balance, and family roles, the initiative helps in building stable and harmonious families. The training further contributes to women’s empowerment by enhancing confidence, informed decision-making, and awareness of self-protection laws.
With this professional certification, we are committed to conducting structured pre-marital counseling sessions in the community and supporting couples in building healthy, balanced, and happy married lives.
राष्ट्रीय महिला आयोग (NCW) यांच्या मार्गदर्शनाखाली राबविण्यात येणारा प्रि-मॅरेज काउन्सेलिंग कार्यक्रम हा निरोगी, समंजस आणि जबाबदार वैवाहिक जीवनासाठी व्यक्तींना तयार करण्याचा एक महत्त्वपूर्ण उपक्रम आहे.
श्री संभू महादेव सेवा भावी संस्था, पुस यांच्या माध्यमातून आमच्या टीमने या कार्यक्रमांतर्गत प्रमाणित समुपदेशक (Counselor) प्रशिक्षण यशस्वीरित्या पूर्ण केले आहे. या प्रशिक्षणामुळे विवाहपूर्व योग्य मार्गदर्शन, भावनिक तयारी आणि कायदेशीर जाणीव निर्माण करण्यासाठी आम्ही सक्षम झालो आहोत.

Road Safety Awareness for Sugarcane Transport
अपघातमुक्त उस वाहतूक जनजागृती अभियान
safety awareness initiative has been launched to ensure an accident-free sugarcane transport season. Increased road movement during cane transport leads to higher risk, so this campaign promotes safe driving and awareness.
Through this initiative, transporters, drivers, and farmers are being educated about traffic rules, vehicle maintenance, and responsible driving practices. Special emphasis is being placed on the use of reflectors, proper loading of sugarcane, and avoiding overspeeding to minimize road accidents during the season.
अपघातमुक्त उस हंगाम राबवण्यासाठी जनजागृती अभियान सुरू करण्यात आले आहे. उसाच्या वाहतुकीदरम्यान रस्त्यावर वाहतूक वाढते आणि अपघातांची शक्यता वाढते. सुरक्षित वाहतूक, नियमांचे पालन आणि जागरूकता निर्माण करणे हा या उपक्रमाचा उद्देश आहे.
या उपक्रमांतर्गत वाहतूकदार, चालक आणि शेतकरी यांना वाहतूक नियम, वाहनांची देखभाल आणि जबाबदार वाहन चालविण्याबाबत मार्गदर्शन केले जात आहे. विशेषतः रिफ्लेक्टरचा वापर, उसाची योग्य लोडिंग आणि अतिवेग टाळणे यावर भर देऊन हंगामातील रस्ते अपघात कमी करण्याचे उद्दिष्ट ठेवण्यात आले आहे.

Recent Event: School Material Distribution
On 10/11/2025, Umang Foundation distributed school kits to a total of 225 students in Rakhsaswadi (Ambejogai) and Saaaraavali (Dahanu) schools. This initiative aimed to support students in continuing their education with essential learning materials. The distribution program was conducted in coordination with the respective school authorities.
दिनांक 10/11/2025 रोजी उमंग फाऊंडेशनतर्फे राक्षसवाडी (अंबाजोगाई) आणि साआरावली (डहाणू) येथील शाळांमधील एकूण 225 विद्यार्थ्यांना शालेय किटचे वितरण करण्यात आले.
या उपक्रमाचा उद्देश विद्यार्थ्यांना आवश्यक शैक्षणिक साहित्य उपलब्ध करून देत त्यांच्या शिक्षणाला पाठबळ देणे हा होता.
सदर वितरण कार्यक्रम संबंधित शाळा प्रशासनाच्या समन्वयाने पार पडला.

Umang Foundation, in collaboration with Saravali Gram Panchayat, successfully conducted a masala-making training program at Patilpada.
The training aimed to enhance livelihood skills and promote self-employment opportunities among women in the community.
Participants received hands-on guidance on spice processing, packaging, and basic marketing techniques to help them start small-scale income-generating activities.
The initiative was well received by the participants and marked a positive step toward women’s economic empowerment.
उमंग फाउंडेशन व सरावली ग्रामपंचायत यांच्या संयुक्त विद्यमाने पाटिलपाडा येथे मसाला निर्मिती प्रशिक्षण यशस्वीरीत्या आयोजित करण्यात आले.

दिनांक 26/10/2025 रोजी उमंग फाउंडेशन व सरावली ग्रामपंचायत यांच्या संयुक्त विद्यमाने करिअर काउन्सेलिंग कार्यक्रम यशस्वीरीत्या आयोजित करण्यात आला.
या कार्यक्रमामध्ये विद्यार्थ्यांना करिअर निवडीसंबंधी मार्गदर्शन, विविध शैक्षणिक संधींची माहिती तसेच कौशल्य विकासाबाबत सविस्तर माहिती देण्यात आली.
या उपक्रमाचा उद्देश विद्यार्थ्यांमध्ये करिअरविषयी जागरूकता निर्माण करणे व त्यांना योग्य दिशादर्शन करणे हा होता.

उमंग फाउंडेशनने अहिरे अकॅडमी यांच्या सहकार्याने बीड येथे शाळा व महाविद्यालयीन विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी NEET मार्गदर्शन सेमिनार यशस्वीरीत्या आयोजित केला. या सत्रामध्ये विद्यार्थ्यांना NEET परीक्षेची रचना, प्रभावी अभ्यास नियोजन, विषयानुसार तयारीची धोरणे तसेच नियमित सराव परीक्षांचे महत्त्व याबाबत मार्गदर्शन देण्यात आले. या परस्परसंवादी सत्रामुळे विद्यार्थ्यांच्या शंकांचे निरसन होऊन वैद्यकीय क्षेत्रातील करिअरबाबत त्यांचा आत्मविश्वास वाढला.

Umang Foundation, in collaboration with Ahire Academy, successfully organized a NEET Guidance Seminar for school and college students in Beed. The session provided students with clear direction on the NEET exam pattern, effective study planning, subject-wise preparation strategies, and the importance of regular mock tests. The interactive seminar helped participants resolve their doubts and boosted their confidence toward pursuing careers in the medical field.
The seminar received an enthusiastic response from the participating students.

Survey Initiative under BHASHINI - NLTM

डिजिटल इंडिया अंतर्गत भारत सरकारच्या संचार मंत्रालयाच्या भाषिनी (National Language Translation Mission – NLTM) या महत्त्वपूर्ण उपक्रमांतर्गत उमंग फाउंडेशनने यशस्वीपणे सर्वेक्षण मोहीम राबवली. कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्ता (AI) च्या साहाय्याने भाषेतील अडथळे दूर करून बहुभाषिक अनुवाद, आवाज व मजकूर तंत्रज्ञान सुलभ करणे हा या मिशनचा उद्देश आहे. या सर्वेक्षणाद्वारे उमंग फाउंडेशनने माहिती संकलन व जनजागृती करून डिजिटल सेवा सर्व भारतीय भाषांमध्ये उपलब्ध करण्याच्या शासनाच्या उद्दिष्टाला हातभार लावला तसेच डिजिटल समावेशनाच्या दिशेने महत्त्वपूर्ण पाऊल उचलले.
Umang Foundation successfully conducted a survey under BHASHINI, the National Language Translation Mission (NLTM), a flagship initiative of the Ministry of Communications, Government of India under the Digital India program. The mission leverages Artificial Intelligence to break language barriers through multilingual translation, voice and speech technologies, and open-source AI models. Through this initiative, Umang Foundation supported data collection and community awareness, contributing to the Government of India’s vision of making digital services accessible in all Indian languages and promoting digital inclusion.
Guidance Camp on “Bima Sakhi” Scheme Successfully Organized
Taking a significant step toward women’s empowerment, Umang Foundation, in joint collaboration with Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), successfully organized a guidance camp on the “Bima Sakhi” scheme.
During the camp, women were provided with comprehensive information about the Bima Sakhi scheme, including self-employment opportunities, pathways to financial independence, and training and earning prospects in the insurance sector. The session witnessed enthusiastic participation, with attendees actively engaging through questions and showing keen interest in joining the scheme.
Through such initiatives, Umang Foundation continues its commitment to making women in rural and urban communities more self-reliant, promoting skill development, and contributing to an economically empowered society.

Sparking Excitement for Learning
During the school kit distribution on 10/11/2025, the initiative brought visible joy to many students in Rakhsaswadi and Saaaraavali. One student happily shared that she was very excited to receive the new school kit and couldn’t wait to use it in class. Such moments reflect how small gestures of support can inspire enthusiasm and positivity toward learning among students.
Support in a Time of Need
During the visit to flood-affected areas, the team met a family that had been struggling after the recent heavy rains. When the children received their school kits, their faces lit up with relief and happiness. The parents expressed heartfelt gratitude, sharing that the support came at the right time and gave their children renewed motivation to continue their education. This small yet meaningful gesture strengthened hope within the family during a challenging period.
जादुई गुल्लक उपक्रमाची यशस्वी सुरुवात
Successful Launch of the Jadui Gullak Initiative
The concept of the Magical Gullak by Mr. Prasad Sirshikar of Auragyan Foundation was presented today in collaboration with two schools. The initiative has commenced with the participation of 100 students. This Magical Gullak concept will help inculcate the habit of saving, self-discipline, and promote important values such as self-reliance among children.
ऑराग्यान फाउंडेशनचे श्री. प्रसाद सिरशीकर सर यांच्या जादुई गुल्लक या संकल्पनेची आज दोन शाळांसोबत मांडणी करण्यात आली. शाळेतील १०० विद्यार्थ्यांसोबत या उपक्रमाची आजपासून सुरुवात झाली आहे. या जादुई गुल्लक संकल्पनेमुळे मुलांमध्ये बचतीची सवय, स्वयंशिस्त आणि आत्मनिर्भरता यांसारख्या महत्त्वपूर्ण मूल्यांचा विकास होण्यास मदत होणार आहे.
