Project Fun Time — "A New Beginning of Self-Confidence"
A 12-month structured mental wellness program for students of Class 8, 9 & 11 across Dahanu Taluka, Palghar — designed to build emotional awareness, reduce stress and anxiety, and restore confidence in rural and tribal youth through creative expression, professional counselling, and self-defence training.
🙏 In the classrooms of Dahanu, children carry more than books — they carry unspoken fear, quiet confusion, and the weight of a future they're not sure they can face. Project Fun Time is Umang Foundation's promise to sit beside them, listen, and help them find their voice — because every child deserves to feel capable, valued, and seen.

Recent Events
School Material Distribution — Rakhsaswadi & Saravali
On 10th November 2025, Umang Foundation distributed school kits to 225 students across Rakhsaswadi (Ambajogai) and Saravali (Dahanu) — reaching children in villages where access to even basic learning materials is far from guaranteed. The distribution was carried out in close coordination with school authorities, ensuring every child was reached with care and dignity.
Each kit was handed over not just as a set of supplies, but as a message — that someone sees you, believes in your education, and thinks your future is worth investing in. For many of these students, this kit would be the difference between showing up to class fully prepared or falling further behind.
🎒 As each kit was handed over, what filled the rooms was not just stationery — it was excitement, relief, and the kind of quiet joy that only a child receiving something truly needed can show. Because when a child walks into class with the tools they need to learn, they walk in with confidence. And confidence, once lit, has a way of never going out.

NEET Guidance Seminar — Umang Foundation x Ahire Academy, Beed
From 1st July to 29th December 2025, Umang Foundation in collaboration with Ahire Academy organised a 6-month NEET Guidance Seminar for school and college students in Beed, Maharashtra. In a region where structured NEET preparation and medical career guidance are hard to come by, this initiative was a direct answer to a gap that has held back talented students for far too long.
The seminar covered the complete NEET exam pattern, subject-wise preparation strategies, smart study planning, and regular mock tests. Designed to be interactive, every session gave students space to ask questions, clear doubts, and build the focused confidence that competitive exam preparation demands.
🩺 Every student who dreams of becoming a doctor deserves more than just a dream — they deserve a clear path. For many participants, this was the first time they received structured, expert-led guidance tailored specifically to their NEET journey. Watching a student's eyes light up when a concept finally clicks — that moment is why Umang Foundation exists.
💛 What this initiative proved is something Umang Foundation has always believed — that with the right guidance, a student from a small city can dream just as big and reach just as far as anyone else.
जादुई गुल्लक उपक्रम — Jadui Gullak Initiative
The concept of the Magical Gullak (Jadui Gullak) by Mr. Prasad Sirshikar of Auragyan Foundation was presented in collaboration with two schools, commencing with the participation of 100 students. This unique initiative is designed to inculcate the habit of saving, self-discipline, and promote the value of self-reliance among children from a young age.
ऑराग्यान फाउंडेशनचे श्री. प्रसाद सिरशीकर सर यांच्या जादुई गुल्लक या संकल्पनेची आज दोन शाळांसोबत मांडणी करण्यात आली. शाळेतील १०० विद्यार्थ्यांसोबत या उपक्रमाची सुरुवात झाली आहे.
🪙 A small coin dropped into a gullak every day teaches a child something no textbook can — that patience builds wealth, that small actions create big futures, and that self-reliance begins with the simplest of habits. These 100 students are not just saving money. They are saving something far more valuable — the belief that they are in control of their own destiny.
