







Masala-Making training program

Umang Foundation, in collaboration with Saravali Gram Panchayat, successfully conducted a masala-making training program at Patilpada.
The training aimed to enhance livelihood skills and promote self-employment opportunities among women in the community.
Participants received hands-on guidance on spice processing, packaging, and basic marketing techniques to help them start small-scale income-generating activities.
The initiative was well received by the participants and marked a positive step toward women’s economic empowerment.
Survey Initiative under BHASHINI - NLTM

Umang Foundation successfully conducted a survey under BHASHINI, the National Language Translation Mission (NLTM), a flagship initiative of the Ministry of Communications, Government of India under the Digital India program. The mission leverages Artificial Intelligence to break language barriers through multilingual translation, voice and speech technologies, and open-source AI models. Through this initiative, Umang Foundation supported data collection and community awareness, contributing to the Government of India’s vision of making digital services accessible in all Indian languages and promoting digital inclusion.
Guidance Camp on “Bima Sakhi” Scheme Successfully Organized

Taking a significant step toward women’s empowerment, Umang Foundation, in joint collaboration with Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), successfully organized a guidance camp on the “Bima Sakhi” scheme.
During the camp, women were provided with comprehensive information about the Bima Sakhi scheme, including self-employment opportunities, pathways to financial independence, and training and earning prospects in the insurance sector. The session witnessed enthusiastic participation, with attendees actively engaging through questions and showing keen interest in joining the scheme.
Through such initiatives, Umang Foundation continues its commitment to making women in rural and urban communities more self-reliant, promoting skill development, and contributing to an economically empowered society.
